Since picking up a rod at the age of seven, it soon became clear that the sea held some alluring form of magnetism that I found compelling and irresistable. I realised in the years to come that fishing was not to be a simple hobby, but an all consuming infactuation that would lead me on a massive adventure and ultimately, by some lucky stroke, fuel a career too.

I'm Currently writing for Hookpoint Fishing magazine and have contributed to Sea Angler, Total Sea Fishing and Sea Angling News aswell as presenting a number of shows on BT Sports and Online Fishing TV.

I have assisted numerous tackle companies including Svendsen Sports and currently work as an ambassador for Anyfish Anywhere. As if that wasn't enough, I also manage Veals Mail Order, probably the most successful online tackle dealer in the UK today.

Nothing gives me a bigger kick now though than sharing my knowledge with those wanting to get more out of their fishing and this is why I am embarking on guided shore fishing trips down on the beautiful Bristol Channel.
